It’s not IE, it’s your code.

    Remove the semicolon.

    IE needs more love ;)

IE doesn’t love you back: it’s still your code, which is invalid: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thekingpen.com%2FDyekoraNew%2Findex.html&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

Examples: don’t if you comment out your styles in the header with . Don’t put a

    within another

    .

    Hope this helps.

Yeah…. we must be on the same page because this is exactly what I was just doing! I’m going back to the drawing board! Thanks so much, again, for your comments.

This looks like it was developed in Dreamweaver…did you not test it at any stage in IE?

Also is this reference properly…isn’t your CSS in a folder?

Obviously it’s not (see http://www.thekingpen.com/DyekoraNew/twoColLiqLtHdr.css ) but of course, that’s just a way of organizing files and has nothing to do with things breaking in IE. ;)

Paulie_D – yep Dreamweaver…and no – I didn’t test ie until pretty much now – basically I wanted to get all of the functionality that I wanted in place first so I could see how it worked. No, css is not in a folder – does that make a difference?

One thing I do notice is that some of the invalid markup is dreamweaver created… and some of the other “invalid” markup is false. If I change it, the whole thing gets wacked. I am about to just go back to using tables and style it with css….

I think that should tell you a lot more about Dreamweaver than IE….. ;)

And erm, don’t go back to tables, please!

lol… but tables are so stable! I will keep trying. Thanks for all the support.
