    Hi,

    I have inserted an image within a post on my WordPress site. I would like to take the embedded image from the post and to place it in the code in a certain place, like grabing the post image URL and showing only my Image.

    It almost sounds like you should be using featured images instead. This might be a tiny bit out of date now, not sure, but give it a read anyways: http://blog.designbygray.ca/using-wordpress-featured-image-post-thumbnail/
