I have converted my static html page to a wordpress theme based on a tutorial at themefoundry. I have two websites that I have loaded the theme onto (both with fresh installs of WP, but through different hosts). My theme loads fine here which is hosted at hostgator but on my other site here the CSS doesn’t show up even though WP reads it as a stylesheet and I can edit it from the WP appearance editor menu. That one is hosted at Is this a hosting issue? Both themes are exactly the same.

That’s because there is a server error occurring:

    403 Forbidden

Sounds like some sort of permissions issue.

Having said that, pull your site from GoDaddy, they *do not* play nicely with WordPress.

I figured it out! TheDoc thank you. It was a permission issue on one of the containing folders (I think wp-content) in my file manager. What a joke!
