WORDPRESS: Multiple featured images in wordpress theme

Hi,

I’m in the process of making a “featured article” slider at the top of my wordpress page. It basically looks like one large image (from “Article 1”), with 3 tabs on the right of it (the tabs are for articles 1, 2 and 3) it looks like THIS:

So, I’m using the featured image with the_post_thumbnail to show my large image, but for each of the tabs I’d like to show a smaller image, of a different size, of a different thing.

The problem is I can only set ONE image as the featured image. Ideally, I’d like one ‘featured image’ and one ‘tab image’ per post.

Any ideas anyone?
