    I’m looking for a wordpress image gallery that has a download option for each image. Basically it is for a photography site. There will be client portal pages where customers can download their full quality images. Any suggestions?

    This plug-in will give you the option to download the images:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-jquery-lightbox/

    But it sounds more like you are looking for a custom solution to your problem.
