O.K For some reason during my recent switch from dreamweaver to e texteditor all of my .php extensions have lost their ‘dreamweaver .php icon’ and are now just a piece of paper icon, does anyone know how to change it back?
you need to right click on the document and choose the open with option. Then choose the program in the list that you want to use to open the file. Then choose to associate that program with that file type and the file will take on the new icon of the new program.
Go To:
Start
—
Default Programs
—
Associate a filetype or protocol with a specific program
Choose “e texteditor” as the program for .php
But they won’t look like Dreamweaver files if you use a different program to edit them….because that would be pointless…
E is already my default editor its just got a weird icon, I liked to one dreamweaver used, this one its using now is just a lined piece of paper with a fold in the corner… Is there any way to have e as default editor but use the dreamweaver php icon?
