    I just created a landing page here: http://carissamariephotography.com/

    The site looks fine in Chrome, Firefox, and IE 7 & 8… For some reason the webpage is screwed up in IE 9. Can someone help me understand why?

    before I launch my VM for IE try fixing the error to see if IE9 behaves (the end tag of the h1 is missing the closing /

    I fixed the h1 tag..thanks for your help..by the way.. I know I’m loading a huge image. I’m looking for a better way of doing this… an alternative to background-size.

    fix the closing end of content div tag as well.
    I checked IE9 and didn’t see anything wrong…

    ditto…looks fine in IE9 to me. Validates nicely too.

    Can you specify what you mean by ‘Weird’ or ‘Screwed Up’

    It’s fixed now. It was the two closing tags I didn’t have.
