Visitors/members chart statistics

Hello , i need a live visitors statistics chart for a html website, something similar like this http://image.prntscr.com/image/1e76c33a1d554bcbb881f3ace62d1997.png not exactly the same design , i only need the script and the rest i will modify myself.

I tried making one myself but i can’t make it work , it doesn’t show statistics at all , it’s just the design alone.

Where do the data come from? Keeping track of user registration and creating something similar can’t be done with JS (alone).
