My apologies… having many resources online which explicitly explain what haslayout is, I still could not understand some aspects of haslayout, and came here with questions….
following are the questions I have,
layout here does mean only width and height of an element or are there others?
only IE encourages developers to use Microsofts’s css ZOOM property to set layout on elements? and other browsers take care of setting layout on elements by themselves?
are there any cases where we need to explicitly set layout on elements while coding for IE8 and above?
