    Hello,

I’m redesigning our chapter’s website using Squarespace.

What I’ve done so far can be viewed here:
    https://james-kibler-m32d.squarespace.com/home

Currently I am using the template “Dovetail”

I was looking to add a donate button to the far right of my header image
(the image saying “Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Houston/ Galveston, Inc”)

How would I go about adding said button to the header?

    Thanks in advance!

The Dovetail template does not allow you to add Squarespace Blocks or custom code in the header area of your site.

Each template on Squarespace is different with different underlying features in the site layout. You can try using the Montauk or Hudson templates if it’s necessary to add custom code for a donation button in the site header. Those two templates have a setting called the Header Subtitle in the Style Editor. Setting this to “custom” will allow you to put custom content using Blocks below the site name/logo.
