    Hi all,

Bit of a toughie here I think, but I’m not sure where else to ask.

I’m working on a client site. The site sells images taken in nightclubs. Each weekend they have around 2,000-3,000 hi-res images to upload.

Obviously this takes quite a while, but apparently their current website is uploading images a lot quicker than the test website is at the moment. So I’m wondering if there’s a way to speed up the upload process?

At the moment, WP is making all of the default thumbnail sizes, however we only need one size. Is there a way to disable the creation of the other two default sizes?

If anyone knows of any other ways of speeding up the process, I have no idea how this would happen off the top of my head, but I thought I’d ask anyway.

    Thanks!

I think you can set the defaults for what thumbails it creates.
