    Hello,
I’ve noticed a site done at my organization that causes an error if the URL from a link appends any special characters to the end of that URL.

Here’s the URL to a page incorporating this script, and it’s in the tab section (the vertical tabs AND the horizontal tabs) titled “What FEMBAs Do” and “Why FEMBA?”.

    http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/degrees/fully-employed-mba

To make this error, if you simply put a question mark at the end of the URL, like this:

    http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/degrees/fully-employed-mba?

the page continues to load within the tabbed section and distorts the rest of the pages content.

We are going to replace these sections with other content in the meantime, but for my own knowledge I’d love any feedback or insight into what is causing this problem as I am trying to learn javascript.

    Thank you in advance.

Hey Shaneisme, thanks for the response. I’ll try it out and post back.
