    on menu hover(profile & staff), the background looks bit off. looks like the line on the right doesn’t go all the way down? like the last item on the menu is like 1px short. what am i doing wrong?

    Looks OK to me but you will have to remember that each character will have some white space below it as part of the glyph. Whether you can do something with line-height I dunno.

    Also, don’t forget that borders meet at an angle so the bottom of the border might taper just a little…it’d be subtle though.

    i’ll try adding border-left: 1px to the last child first
