[Solved] Modal Pop-up Window

Greets to all….

I’m a CSS noob struggling to learn the tricks. I need to pop up a modal window upon clicking a picture on my main page. In the pop-up I need to have a picture op top with a fair amount of text, a close window option, a print button, and a download button for those wanting to get the contents of the pop-up in a PDF. I thought this would be easy… now I know better. I’ve successfully integrated jquery for other functions and think my answer might lie in the land of javascript. Thanks for any advice to point me in the right direction!

Hey – I sorted it…!

I finally discovered Eric Martin’s jquery app SimpleModal (http://www.ericmmartin.com/projects/simplemodal). Even a noob like me was able to follow his well documented instructions and in a couple of hours I had my modal pop-up working great.
