I want to have my wordpress theme’s sidebar list out events that are posted on our calendar at

    http://www.meetup.com/OliveTreeMusicStudio/calendar/

This is an RSS feed, but when you go to this feed:

    feed://www.meetup.com/OliveTreeMusicStu … thwest+NJ/

…it is difficult to see the date of the actual event as being a taxonomy category of its own. I’m totally not describing that well, but the point is, I want to tell meetup that I want the event date, followed by the event title, and I want the event name to be a link to the page on meetup that further describes the event.

I’m at such a loss as to how to approach this code challenge. Any takers for help? Thanks!

The folks at Meetup.com came up with a solution for me. Check out this example integration:

http://yuliziv.com/ (look for Panels & Events in the right column)

The way it works is discussed in this this forum thread:
