I absolutely adore the social widget on Pigeons and Planes (visit any of their articles to see what I mean). I would like to create something similar for my own website, here, but I don’t know how to make custom social widgets that stay updated and keep count and such. Also, I like the smooth drop-down effect of each social widget, which I suspect is using JavaScript. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. And hopefully I can achieve better spacing than what P&P has. The number boxes don’t even line up with the logos!
