Hello Everyone!
I had a question about QR Code. If your designing a website is their a code or something you need to add so the QR works? I’m confused, I’ve never had to deal with this before. My client said they have one and just sent me the flier….. So I’m unsure of what if anything I have to do, since the QR is already generated. Unfortunately, I’m not rich or even a little bit so I have a lame non-android phone. So I can’t check it. Please someone shine some light on this for me.
@dawn_s There is no code that I’m aware of. It’s just an image.
A “QR Code” isn’t actually “Code”. It’s just an image. A QR Code reader can read that image. You don’t have to do any work.
A QR code is nothing more than an image representation of some text. The text is coded/converted into a QR image, and a QR reader (either on a phone or a computer) can convert it back to the original text.
To create a code, you can use this site for example: http://createqrcode.appspot.com/
You do not have to scan it with your computer, there are many free onling barcode reader. You can put your QR code and scan it. Besides, if you want to generate your own QR code, there also free on-line QR code generator.
