I can’t remember which site I saw this on, but the page had a floating tab on the left side of the browser window that popped out when clicked (or maybe on hover). I can’t remember what the content of the tab was, but I would like to have a small contact form pop out, that is, perhaps a small vertical tab saying “Contact Us” floating and stuck to the left of the window, that popped out on hover or click, producing a simple contact form.

    Thanks for any ideas!

Personally, I find those kind of things annoying, as they often cover up content or accidentally trigger when you hover over them.

Still, it shouldn’t be too difficult to create. Create and style your contact form with a tab on the side, position it so that only the tab is visible, and write some JavaScript to adjust its position on click or hover. You can try playing around with fixed positioning or using JS to update the position as you scroll.
