Hi all. I would like to set up a wordpress site (not necessarily a blog) to promote and sell future ebooks of short stories I plan to write. I hear good things about WordPress (and did also consider Drupal for a while) so I will try that out. I know there are ecommerce plugins for this also.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on the best way to lay out a site such as this, should I use a blog, or just ‘static’ pages that describe the stories I’m writing? And should the payment for these stories be through an integrated payment solution ideally? I want to keep everything on my site at all times (aside from any external links of course that I may wish to add).
I’m also keen on WP as I hear it’s heavily customisable and look forward to applying my own CSS to it.
