Placement Problem

  • # February 21, 2010 at 8:06 pm

I’m in the process of re-designing my site. I’ve attached an image of my mockup in Photoshop ( on the left ) and my work-in-progress (on the right ), But I can’t figure out how to get my nav bar to go higher up in the page after it’s being pushed down by the larger title image? I feel I’m being rather stupid but I just can’t find a solution.

Any help anyone can give will be greatly recieved

It’s hard to tell without code, but I would guess you need to float your logo and menu to the left and then set widths for both of them

Just absolutely position the nav bar.
