PHP developer wanting to learn CSS & JS animations

Hello,

I’m primarily a PHP developer but I do a fair amount of front-end work too and want to try getting to grips with more CSS / JS animations, parallax scrolling etc.

I thought to try & learn this I’d try and recreate the affects of another site I like the look of and see where I get, the problem is I’m not really sure where to start. The site I’m looking to emulate is http://www.flyjetedge.com/, does any one have any ideas on articles or links that’d be helpful in explaining how to create the scroll affect when you go down & the various other small affects?
