Pagination on Category Pages Problem

hi,

I run the WPShower Sight theme and have run into a problem that I would hugely appreciate help with.

I have set up my site so that I have some categories in the main menu with their own pages. The issue that I have is that the “Older” and “Newer” post links at the bottom of the category pages keep on taking me back to the Index/Mainpage when I click on it instead of to either the first page of the posts for the category or the next page of posts.

I have WP Pagenavi plugin installed and here is the code from the Pagination.php page.

Any ideas what I need to do? Do I maybe need to create category.php files or i can it be sorted within the pagination.php coding. I’m at a loss …
