New portfolio, please critique

Hi al,

I am currently a web design student, and have been putting together my portfolio on my own time (not for a class). I would really like some straightforward opinions and any advice or comments.

What do you dislike/like? Is it functional? If you were a potential employer, would you hire/consider me? If so, or if not, why?
I’m still working out a couple small CSS/Javascript issues, but do let me know of anything that is not working right. Thanks so much!

I like the site as a whole, but I have a point you may not have considered.

Your resume link opens a pdf. Which is fine, but it’s pretty graphical. A potential employer will probably want to print out your resume and hand it off to HR if they’re interested in you. A more black and white / printer ink friendly resume might be a good idea.
