Hi _ I’ve got a div that needs to have the background image swap when hovered over, and also, inside that div is a text link that needs to change background also.

Right now, if I apply the background image swap to the div, the text link is picking up the styling. The HTML is below.

How do I separatre the two?

    Lorem Ipsum

    Blah blah blah

Thanks Fourzie – Such a simple, elegant solution. I’m still learning especially when is comes to CSS linking and hover states. I get really confused about the structure.

    I appreciate it. :)

I am slowly learning that a ‘space’ in CSS code can mean so much. Understanding that basic concept has really helped me with drop down styling. My brain had not yet applied it to other styles. You helped turn the light bulb on.
