Media Font Resize and Extra Width

For some reason I keep getting this extra space on the right when I add margins, borders, or padding. If I don’t add them the last menu options goes off-screen, sometimes creating a scroll bar that no matter how far you extend the window is still there. The same kinda happens with the height.
Second is the font doesn’t resize with the media query.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

As to the second part – you’re using .nav in the media query instead of nav…
