Make blog post archives page open post in lightbox or modal window:

Hello, I’ve googled the heck out of this for instructions and can’t find anything!

I need it so that on the blog post archives page, when you click the link to the blog post, it opens the blog post in a lightbox/popup/ modal window rather than going to that page.

This would be similar to how pinterest handles this.

Any advice on this (not limited to javascript) would be greatly appreciated!
