    Hey guys,

I’m in the process of building a new website that’s going to have a pretty complex menu system. I’d really like to use the new menu structure in 3.0.

I’ve figured out how to activate it within the theme and to place it, but I’m having some issues with the drop downs. Further, I’d REALLY like to use some jQuery to add some flair to the menus (animate down possibly). I was looking at SuperFish but I’m starting to see some of my limited programming skills come to light.

Does anyone have any decent resources they can offer or tutorials they’ve seen on the new 3.0 menus? I’ve tried searching around and the furthest I got was where I’m at right now: menu activated, but that’s about it. I’ve decided I’m going to hunker down and really learn this thing inside but I’m coming up short for resources. So any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    thanks man, that is excellent!

What I’ve done so far is here:

I just barely have the skeleton up and running, but I basically disected the Twenty10 theme’s menu’s and restyled them. I also found a pretty good resource here to get started:

I REALLY liked the subtle twist of the menus on that above link and found that it’s a jquery plugin called superfish. That’s my next step.
