“localhost” Hangover?

Howdie

I successfully loaded my WP from my wamp server to the web. (You have to admit the first time is always a little iffy). I have a problem though. It seems each web page loads find until I load the blog page, then every (site navigation) link fails to load because it is trying to load links with the “old” localhost urls. (?)

I searched on everything having to do with “cache” and “wp”, have dumped the cache in all my browsers, so I am here.

1) Update your permalinks (you don’t have to change anything, just hit ‘Update’ again)

2) Go to WordPress Settings -> make sure the new url is used

3) Log into PHPmyadmin and do a search for any old URLs, manually edit them

I left the’ DB_HOST’ as ‘localhost’ as I read somewhere that was the value it should remain, is this wrong?

Problem solved, oversight on my part -yep, I jumped the gun. I have to remind myself that panic blinds common sense sometimes. :)
