Which of this CSS pre-processors is better and which of them is the most popular and usable?
This explained it quite well.
I personally think that’s a little biased (since it’s written by Sass-people), and the paragraph itself doesn’t really make a good comparison (pros and cons) of Sass vs. others.
Here’s is a rundown/comparison of Sass vs. LESS written by Chris, which may help as well: https://css-tricks.com/sass-vs-less/
In the end, Sass is (often) preferred, and more popular, and I would recommend to go with that too. I started with Sass myself, and then when I ended up with a job that required working with LESS, my Sass background helped a lot.
In practice, they’re very much the same. Know one, and you’ll know a lot about the other one. It’s mostly in the details; they share a lot of basic methodology.

Thank you for proving my point. Specifically talking about this sentence…
“It is a software aimed at solving actual issues; helping to provide useful functionality to CSS where CSS falls short”
What one chooses doesn’t matter. Preferably should try both and see which one fits better.
