Layout with bottom timeline

Howdy!

I am creating a layout for the mobile web like this:

[navigation]

[timeline]

The timeline is meant to scroll horizontally, so on a mobile device. just for that section, you can explore the timeline…the navigation part is meant to be not moving, just the timeline.

I see this type of interaction on apps.

A colleague mentioned an iframe would work to achieve this–is this the best way? How can I setup my HTML and CSS?
