I like javascript and I have fun working with it but I just do not like the fact that people are suggesting I should learn html and css to go for web development and I have zero passion in that area. Are job prospects good for javascript other than web dev? I don’t know if it’s realistic but I’m planning to study 6-8 hours a day for 6 month to land a entry position of some sort and would like to know what are my options?

If you don’t know how JS interacts with HTML& CSS I don’t see a lot of point.

You have to know what your JS will DO and WHY you are using JS in the first place.

Certainly, you don’t need to be an expert in HTML & CSS but a reasonable working knowledge can only be of benefit.

Frankly, I suspect you would be limiting your options with zero HTML& CSS knowledge.
