    Here is an example

Basically, there are two buttons with hover states. When you click on any button using an iPad, it just takes you directly to that page (I’m not concerned about the actual hover effect). Now, when you hit “back”, the button you just clicked stays stuck in its hover state. Is there any way to reset that?

I have been asking around and looking everywhere, so I can’t tell if I’m just asking the wrong question, or if I’m the only one with this problem. But I can’t be. I’m sure there is a very simple solution out there, or a pseudo class that I’m not aware of. And I don’t want to resort to any trickery like Javascript.

    Thanks to anyone in advance…

I don’t have an iPad to test this but it sounds like the :active state is inheriting the :hover
Try messing about with them :)
