I’ve been trying to figure this out for 2 days and am having no joy.

This page has animated content on it (http://jackonthe.net/css3animateit/). The css classes, e.g. bounceIn, get applied with javascript when the user clicks on the directional arrows. This works fine on every browser and device I’ve tested it on – with one exception – iOS Safari – and only when more than 1 tab is open.

I’ve gotten as far as figuring out it only happens to the animated content that sits in the DIVS with the class “page-wrapper”.

If I place the animated content outside that DIV, it works.

But why only in iOS Safari? This is such a strange issue that I don’t even know where to start.

NOTE This only happens when more than 1 tab is open in Safari iOS
