    i have ! on the top left of my website. Im aware of bom codes but this is only an exclaamation mark. any idea what it means? all comments are appreciated. thanks.

    by the way bom is the unicode byte-order mark in UTF-8 encoded files is known to cause problems for some text editors and older browsers. thanks again.

    I just use the default setting that comes with expression web 4. I wasn’t really paying attention if its old or what not, its still learning process for me.. whats the latest besides html5 or any recommendation? I know that theres XHTML 1.0 Strict, Transitional, Frameset and XHTML 1.1 DTD? Im still new to this so any help is appreciated. thanks
