How to center element in scroll

Hi, I want to center element within scroll.

In my codepen example I have three sections.
the middle section contain two divs. each half .
I want to vertical center the the first div even I scroll the middle section.

I can’t find any solution for this..
(please do not change the layout..)

any ideas?

Seems to me that you want the “blue” section to scroll but not the “yellow”…right.

Frankly, I think this will require a change in the HTML.
