Can anyone understand why the following page is displaying a horizontal scroll bar on large monitors when viewed with Google Chrome?

The page looks fine on Firefox and IE, and validades both XHTML Strict and CSS. When looking at the Developer Tools inside Chrome, all elements appear to be inside the "normal", non-scrolled page area, even the <body> itself.
Could anyone take a look at it to see if I’m missing something obvious (or maybe not that obvious)?
