    Has anyone tried using HHVM? If so, thoughts?

    I’m wanting to install it on my VPS but I’m not comfortable doing it just yet due to the lack of knowledge I have in this area.

    I have never used it… but it sounds really cool. I say you just jump in and do it dude.

    One super easy way is to spin up a droplet on Digital Ocean and try your hand at installing and configuring it. If you mess up that droplet, oh well… none of your stuff is on it. It’s a throw-away.

    Digital Ocean charges per hour… so you’ll only spend a few cents giving it a shot.

    I really have no idea what I’m doing. Just wanted to see the benchmarks on smaller web applications to see if it was worth it. Although, when you look at the benchmarks using HHVM with WordPress, they are quite nice.
