For the old hands I recall a post on an issue with the text color for web fonts not extending to cover the whole of a character (usually noticable when changing the color on hover).
Unfortunately, I can’t find it by searching here but if anyone can recall the issue and what caused it and ideally the resolution it would be much appreciated if you would link it here.
