    Here’s what I have for now: http://jsfiddle.net/fewakw1x/

    What I’m trying is to make each inside-row with 50% height of the image cell and their content vertically centered.

    Any help please? Thank you.

    But if the cols have display:table-cell shouldn’t the left one assume the height of the right one, since this is bigger?

    Thank you gcyrillus, that works!
    Now I only have to find a way to make my image cover the blank space when the content is taller.
