I’m working an complete overhaul of my company’s website (a state technical school). I plan on using some css3 components such as rounded corners, text-shadow, and few others. I also plan to use @font-face on some minor text areas such as text in the footer. The footer will have a "chalk" text effect on text that will change such as links.

Before I start implementing this idea are there any pitfalls I should be made aware of? I tested my code on FF, Chrome, and IE7 with no issues. Has anyone had any unforeseen problems using @font-face such as the text not showing up, size issues, etc?
