I agree with you on developing the technique first.
But I do think the program is pretty cool for a beginner to use seeing as I can edit the HTML, CSS, and run the site in any browser with a click of a button.
Also it helps fill in CSS, and let me know of any errors.
Guess I just saying it pretty cool for someone like me starting out.
That to me looks more complicated than the problem you’re trying to avoid.
Because it looks overly complicated, you loose control, it’s not modular and you’re tied to Windows.
ST2 + Firefox bro.
Right… I love and only use Firefox.
I really do like ST2, just wish it told me when I mess up like the WebMatrix does.
But, I do respect what you have said so far…

Good sir. And ST2 does have syntax highlighting. And that’s what browser consoles and linting are for ;)
I just the Firefox developer thing.. can edit the CSS right in the browser and save the edit… pretty sweet!
Yes. But use that sparingly. It’s more for quick troubleshooting.
