    Hi guys!

I’ve been following this great forum for a while, but now is the right time to ask my fist question.

I’m working on a personal project, where I try to create an online, free angiography [1],[2] atlas of the human brain. My goal would be to make all vessels clickable, so students and professionals can review anatomy (which can sometimes be tricky!).

Here is a scetch, how this could look like: http://img5.picload.org/image/lwpaior/untitled-5.png

So I have a lot of “overlay” images and I was thinking, how I could solve this in an elegant way.

So I thought to make single .PNG-files and overlay them. Or to solve everything in flash (don’t want to do that, though! :-) ).

Do you guys have an idea?

    Thanks!

SVG is the way I would go.

You could have multiple overlaying elements..all vector and fully stylable.

A little JS and you’d really have something.
