I am attempting to skin my phpbb forums with my wordpress theme and so far coming up unsuccessful.

I started on this task after initially trying to integrate phpbb with wordpress using WP-united (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-united/), which is unfortunately out of date and not compatible with the latest version of wordpress.

After searching for another solution, I came across this site’s video screencast #48 (https://css-tricks.com/video-screencasts/48-skinning-phpbb/), which looked simple enough, but similar to WP-united, this video is older (2009) and there have been updates that I can’t find my amateur self able to compensate for.

I am in a serious time crunch and I am hoping that someone can help me figure this out!

If you want help, you’ll need to narrow things down. I’m fairly certain no one is going to just skin it for you, but if something specific is broken we can take a look at it and perhaps give you some guidance.

Please provide a URL we can see what’s going on after you’re stuck.

I’d love to narrow it down if I could. Unfortunately, the coding is much more advanced than in the video I watched from 2009 and I am no professional developer. I hired a pro to help and even he can’t figure it out. My website is http://www.footballiance.com, using the theme “Paradox” (http://themeforest.net/item/paradox-premium-wordpress-magazine/7592648).

Ideally, I would like to skin the header, footer, and both sidebars (after we’re able to widen the theme to allow room for the forums to be viewed and function properly).

Unfortunately I’m not sure if anyone would volunteer their time for that, perhaps someone is for hire here?

(I’m not implying that I am!)

Definitely understood, and I’d be happy to do what it takes to get the job done right.
