I’m working on a site at http://mantisforce.firstprincipleswebdesign.com/
In the first section there are five galaxies at the bottom of the image. I would like to set up an effect so that when I hover over one of the galaxies, a black mask shows up and text/images about that galaxies covers the red-faced man…
Is that possible with css or am I going to need js?
Any ideas?
I am not sure what you are looking to do. I think that it is possible with just css but if you could elaborate a little further that would help. I was also noticing that 4 of the 5 galaxy images on your site seem to be broken.
Ok, I got that issue resolved. Basicall I’m wanting a hover over effect similar to a very large tooltip.
Seems a pretty basic request and pseudo elements aren’t really required.
If we had an image of what the hovered state(s) were supposed to look like it would be easier to help you.
Hi Paulie,
This is basically what I’m going for.
