    Hello everyone,

I am currently building a website for a client: http://jshjohnson.com/hooga

But the clients response was “bit too much of a …’corporate’ / safe feel rather than a cosy warm feel with that quirky twist that we think hooga is all about”

Any ideas on how I can make this design less corporate?

    Thanks

You say building a website…does that mean you are also responsible for the design?

Surely they signed off on the design before you coded it?

Hmmm…In that case, I’d go back to the clients and say, give me some examples of what kind of feel you are after.

I went through this with a recent website re-design. All I wanted was some prints of sites that had the look they were after. I’m not saying to copy what other people have done but just examples of what they are after.

Otherwise, you’ll just go through the whole iteration all over again.

Oh…and get sign off on the mock-up from ALL decision makers before recoding.
