Change Homepage name in WordPress

  • # December 18, 2012 at 2:40 pm

    Hey guys,

    I’ve wondering if there is a way to change a static homepage’s name? It’s already set as “Want to get in touch?” in the editor, however it shows up as “Home” in there theme. Anybody got any ideas?

    @ConorHaining Do they have a home.php?

    Nope, it’s just another page. And when I say “in the theme” I mean in the navigation.

    Hmm. I’m confused now. Can you show us the code for what it shows in the editor?

    @ConorHaining, check to see if there’s a custom menu under “Appearance” > “Menus”

    What theme are you using.

    In the editor the page is called “Want to get in touch” and it’s set as a static homepage. However in the navigation it simply shows as “Home”.

    I’m going to give the custom menus a shot tomorrow.

    @FragaGeddon It’s a custom theme I’m building myself.
