If someone is referred to my page from a charity’s social media page, I want them to see that charity’s logo and color in my page’s header.

How would I do something like this??

What have you tried so far…we’re not a “code it for you” forum…we’re more of a “fix my non-working code” bunch.

Much like the folks at Stack Overflow – http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32013345/change-header-content-based-on-incoming-users-referral-source

Yeah that’s my question on Stack. Looking for some ideas, not code…

I’d think php would be the most appropriate tool. Only problem is that referers aren’t very reliable and can be spoofed.

As I recall the original question on SO (which is now deleted) you wanted some kind of scraping that would automagically detect the referrers logo, copy it and display it on the new page….because you didn’t want to maintain the images yourself.

Frankly, that sounds like a security (and possibly privacy) nightmare.
