    i have given body background image with repeat property. when page loads background loads in horizontal strips. it does not look pretty at all. can anyone tell why it happens and how can i get rid of it.

    This usually happens when the background image is large. Or rather, too large.

    [solved] thanks… by cutting the image size short this problem gets solved as it is not taking loading time now.
