I’ve created a codepen width some dummy text on the first slide. Now, the way I see it, since the text (absolutely positioned) cannot go out of the slider boundary defined by the image and if the slider and the layout ought to be responsive, I ought to set a character limit/max-height/overflow hidden for the remaining text, and inform the client accordingly.

Please note: I haven’t set the ‘bolded part’ yet in my codepen.

Is there an alternative or is this the only way out? And is this best practice?
