Background with two colors that stretch left to right

Hi there,

I am struggling already 13 hours to find a solution for one thing.

I would like replicate this page:

I want the background be black and green stretch from left to right the whole browser behind the car, but not entirely. If you see the image, then it will be more obvious what i am talking about.

I want the black and green meet behind the car. I am going to make the site responsive aswell.

I am trying to make it but no idea how to structure the code.

I really appreciate any advice.

Use a linear gradient as a background. You can put the colour stop anywhere you need.
